Hey NERDZ! Nico here writing my fourth blog. There isn't much to talk about aside from what the class is currently doing so I guess I'll just get to that. After Heidi read the blog, we got into our second topic on the agenda, poetry. For today, the class read a poem called, "The Eagle," by Alfred Lord Tennyson. This poem is about an eagle (like ovi) who is described to be on a cliff, admiring the beautiful lands, azure world, the wrinkled sea, and mountain walls. After reading this passage, we took notes on our observations -
azure (fancy name for the color blue)
crag (a ragged stone/branch)
imaginary: nature, eagle, cliff, water, sky, sun, mountains, sea
Next on our Agenda is Inquiry Projects... cricket cricket...the class is silently working (I'm sure you could tell by my amazing cricket-like animal noises) and there is not much else to write, so I should wrap up this blog. Bye.
