Hey Nerdz, SEKC here umm...uuh well we started off today (as you should know) with checking our grades. :( On another note today is the 10th anniversary of MEAN GIRLS. Honestly, in my opinion Mean Girls wasn't that good. It was pretty funny... But you know it was also too much girl talk for my dude brain. The main reason though why I didn't really like it... is... because... Lindsay Lohan was in it. I H4TE Lindsay Lohan. Her acting is bad, she's a druggy, and she caused a like 4 car pile up and then blamed it on kombucha. I love kombucha and now i can't buy it because of her. Now that I'm done with my very big, little rant I'll get back on topic.

Now we just read a poem called speak up which is typed to sound like two people having a conversation. A stereotypical stereotype conversation is what that was.  All of us nerdz are now writing poems quietly.

Wow such effort for Doge kind.
Danny and Flower are trying so desperately to get in the pic. Journey not destination.

I just now thought of something... book projects are do and I need to find time this weekend to do it. :-9

Right now the class is about to write some poems. Yeah!!! Get it done.

By the way Ms. Nakada says that we have to give credit to the author that inspired your poem (Call of words)

Right now the class is reading a poem about photography.

How many poems do you have?
Who inspired you to your poems?
Are you going to dedicate your poetry collection to someone? If so, who?
For the call of words, which one did you like the most?

Now the class is writing poems, I don't have anything else to write...

Write a poem a day!
    28 by Monday!

Hi nerds, it's me Maor. Ms. Nakada just told us to take out a piece of paper, write our heading, and title it as Smarter Balance Reflection. It's a reflection to the tests we did this week, the CST's, just on the iPads. We had them yesterday, the day before, and the day before. The nerdz, most of them, chose the regular paper and pencil CST's, saying they were more comfortable with paper and pencil. The nerdz also said that they weren't as prepared as they would have been if they had the regular CST's. Too much writing, and some nerdz said it crashed their system. I, personally, agree. My system took me back to the login screen, three times. I think they should work on the Smarter Balance, if they want it to be our permanent test taking thing. What would you prefer, the regular CST's, or the Smarter Balance? Write it in the comments.

We watched "To This Day" and wrote poems. Bye.

HW: Write a poem a day. 22!

Welcome back from spring break. Yesterday we started the first day of the Smarter Balanced Field Test. We met in the library and used iPads and keyboards. By the time I left at the end of period 1, some students were logged on and working while others were struggling to get onto the interface. It was a tad frustrating, but we got through.

Today we are doing an in-class activity that in part of the Smarter Balanced Assessment.

Hello Nerdz today I'm writing the blog in like 10 minutes so it might not be so good. After writing down the agenda we went to CIS conferences, were parents talk about your grades and what you could do better. Now we are reading a poem and Ms.Nakada is showing a website to help write poems. The website has a bunch of poem and you can make a poem. Now we are doing a I am poem which we should have done yesterday. Last poem of the day called "To a poor old Woman" by William Carlos Williams. Ms.Nakada has read the poem and now Dylan, and now Flower. In the poem the plum is symbolic to something else. 1 Day until spring break not counting today, I suggest doing all 30 poems during the break. Now the bell has rung so Bye. There is no need for a question because no one comments, but I will just write one

Question why does no one comment anymore ?

Homework:
Write a Poem
9 so far

Hey nerds, its me again... anyway right now we are reading a poem, By: Pablo Neruda, called You Will Remember. So we are taking turns reading it (not the whole class but who ever wants to (bo, girl, boy, girl, etc.)) Its like really quiet, like in Jaws when the shark was just about to attack... scarcely quiet. Well the class is writing down words from the poem, or writing a poem after reading You Will Remember, which in that case I guess its time for a question...
1. What is the theme to your Poem?
2. Do you think that your poems are good?
3. Do the poems have some sort of meaning to you?
Okay, now the class has been quiet for a very long time and I am running out of things to say here... Okay so the class was writing poems, and Ms. Nakada just asked if anyone wanted to read what they wrote. Lourden read a Poem that she wrote, Alejandro read a poem and both were like very i don't know how to explain, but now we are passing out Inquiry Projects and laying them out on the desk so we have a little presentation on our desks, so everyone can go around and look at each others projects to learn something. Now projects are being passed out and yeah, projects are just being passed out. Okay so I left but you don't know that, well you probably do, saying that I left and the class witnessed it... Anyway the Inquiry Project Gallery went great I'm pretty sure everyone got something from it... Okay well I'm gonna go... Until we meet again Goodbye :)!!
Malaysia says Hi!... and I say bye, I know very cheesy Malia.... Okay bye now!
