Hi nerdz I don't feel like giving an introduction so I'll just jump right in. Once everyone was done writing their agenda and homework Ms.Nakada started us off with a poem.The poem by Langston Hughes shows imagery,old stories of slavery,it is free verse, shows repetition,and alliteration.The next poem we read was called "Mother To Son". Flower and Dylan volunteered to read the poem,it was pretty funny to hear them talk slang.Next we took out a blank peice of paper and Ms.Nakada told us to write a poems by ourselves.The class is really quiet and i'm getting sleepy, then once again Flower and Dylan volunteered to read their poems then surprisingly Seghan and Lourden read their poems also.Then Ms.Nakada told us that we had to write 30 poems this month because of NaPoWriMo.The bell just rang so bye.Off to Ms.Wilson :(
